The Fallout 4 theme was added to the Theme library on August 31st by Antonio Calipari, a self-acclaimed graphic designer and is a full package of detailed goodness. The theme has already been downloaded 4665 times and is described as an inspiration from the upcoming game Fallout 4 with a retro look that fits the game’s colors and atmosphere.
The Fallout 4 theme is visually pleasing to me, because of its coffee or earthy color scheme, the icons have that retro touch to them with a glossy coat to make them feel current, and the weather icons marry up nicely with the wallpaper selection.
What I like the most about the styled icons is that the icon pack goes deeper than just the default set of icons. Not only did the artist modify the default icons, but also the ones they most likely use on a daily basis including several popular social networks. When I look for my next theme I am attracted to themes that have a nice weather icon pack and some kind of style on the icons. If you didn’t at least add some texture to the icons I might as well just download a sharp wallpaper and do the rest myself. Antonio didn’t design the weather or app icons himself, but he clearly gives credit where it’s due in the theme description. Either way, he applied all the styles to create an awesome theme.

Overall, the Fallout 4 theme by Antonio Calipari is a solid theme with most of the core things I look for when browsing the theme library. It has a good color scheme that flows with my current mood, a decent wallpaper that I don’t mind looking at, styled icons, who’s calling image (though it didn’t apply to my M8), and styled weather icons. The only thing missing would be some new sounds and in this instance it would have been cool to hear some sounds that were from the Fallout games. I would knock it half a star for missing the audio, but for now I’m going to give it a 5 out 5 rating in the HTC Theme app.
