Owners of the HTC One M9 in Europe , Middle East and Africa can now download the latest Android 5.1 software update. The new update pack in Quick Settings improvements, tweaks to the Contacts app, system volume tweaks, new animations security fixes and a few random system improvements.
So far, we’ve heard that the update has been spotted in France, Italy, the UK, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We’ll likely see a gradual roll-out of the update over the next week or two as HTC periodically flips the switch for additional countries across EMEA. If you’re not keen on waiting your turn, you can always try to trigger the update manually by going to Settings > About > Software updates > Check Now to see if the update is available for your device.
