Android 5.1 for the Sprint HTC One M9 will be here in two days. HTC Mo Versi made the announcement today, stating that the latest software build had just received technical approval from Sprint. In addition to the standard Android 5.1 features, the software update is expected to deliver a handful of HTC specific customizations as well.
What to expect with HTC’s Android 5.1 update
With the Sprint HTC One M9 Android 5.1 update on its way in a few days, we’re hoping over US variants of the HTC One M9 in the weeks to come. Sprint’s software team typically approved HTC’s software updates much quicker than Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. Unfortunately, there’s no real way to predict how much longer we’ll have to wait until all U.S. variants of the hTC One M9 are updated to Android 5.1.
