HTC leans on Twitter today to announce a new addition to the brand ambassador lineup, iconic supermodel, Miss Jourdan Dunn. The famous British fashion model brings with her a body-art inspired design for a campaign called HTC INK M9 Limited Edition. The campaign will introduce unique designs engraved onto a limited number of HTC One M9 smartphones.
Through this partnership Jourdan Dunn will get to showcase her love of design and body art transposed onto brushed metal, two tone finishes. Jourdan says,
I am proud to be part of HTC’s campaign and am excited to see people around the world with my creation on their HTC One M9.”
HTC has teamed with such faces as Robert Downey Jr., Robinson Cano and more on previous endeavors. HTC loves to partner with those who are at the top in their field and who appreciate remarkable smartphones with first class designs. HTC has been known to give its ambassadors the freedom to share their inspirations through HTC’s channels. RDJ and his wife personally assisted with the scripts he read in some of the most recent commercials.
HTC has always had a soft spot for Fashion Week, as you may recall the sharp looking dual-tone HTC One X announced in 2012 that meshed a white and black HTC One X together. The new INKED HTC One M9 is said to be released at a later date, but we hope it will be before Fashion Week in New York in September. HTC tells us that HTC INK phones will not be available for purchase, but there will be several phases by which HTC addresses the public through their own channels as well as other media and news outlets.
HTC has had several limited edition phones in the past like the old myTouch 3G Fender edition, HTC One X Cushnie et Ochs, gold and platinum platted HTC One M7, HTC One M8 PHUNK edition, and HTC One M8 Hydra-class edition.
