As dawn breaks on day one of CES, HTC has announced a new smartphone for Europe. The new HTC Desire 320 is a low-end smartphone with an even lower price. Powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6582M clocked at 1.3 GHz, the HTC Desire 320 runs Android 4.4 with BlinkFeed and Video Highlights. The device also features a 4.5 inch 854×480 display, 5-megapixel rear camera, 2,100 mAh battery, 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB. The HTC Desire 320 will be available in white and gray and will carry a price tag of €149 in Germany. HTC has also announced that the phone will be making its way to the UK, but launch and pricing details have not yet been made public.
We were expecting HTC to announce a new HTC Desire phone at CES, but we have a feeling the Desire 320 isn’t the main attraction. Stay tuned.
