Tomorrow is the biggest day for HTC news before the holiday season and HTC is still teasing us with what’s to come. One of the highly anticipated releases is the new Re Camera by HTC, a standalone life camera that we think HTC will encourage consumers to use every day in every situation you see fit. Of course one could capture scenes full of sports action, but why not everything.
On the recently added YouTube account, REbyHTC, there’s a new video (currently the only video) called “Catching Air” and it’s of a girl taking flight after a session on the swings. The video does involve some action, but it’s not too dangerous and could be just a normal day for the average user. Other than recording an everyday experience the content creator wanted to show off that extra wide camera lens on the Re. The girl in the video can be seen advancing forward in her swing and catching air while the camera sits still on the surface below her. The HTC One M8 has a nice wide front facing camera coming in at 88 degrees, but this appears to have be wider than that, maybe 100 degrees or more.
If the Re hits the market at a reasonable price it will surely fill a few stockings this Christmas. Including mine! So, what would a reasonable price sound like to you? What kind of capabilities would you expect from this life camera? How would you live your life #InFullView?
Don’t forget to tune in tomorrow for details on the latest release products.
