The Eye Experience that made its debut on the HTC Desire Eye is now rolling out as on OTA update with Android 4.4.4 to the HTC One (M8) in Europe. The 252MB software update’s main features include facial recognition and tracking during video calls (up yo 4 people), auto and voice command selfies, split capture video recording, crop me in, face fusion, live makeup and photo booth. HTC One (M8) owners are essentially getting all the new tricks from the HTC Desire Eye.
While it’s always nice to get a few new features, the update also brings back an old feature that HTC removed with Sense 6 – camera and video shutter buttons on the camera’s viewfinder. For me, this is the most important part of the update, simplifying the camera UI and allowing the user to capture video or pictures without having to switch modes in the settings panel.
HTC’s website claims that the Eye Experience update will be made available for the HTC one (M7), HTC One (E8) and HTC one (M8), HTC One mini, and HTC One mini 2.

Camera and video button back!
I thought it was a shame do not having this on a newer version of Sense. Finally is back!
