So… as soon as we publish a story that says we don’t know when the HTC One (M8 Eye) will be unveiled, HTC’s global Twitter account puts up a teaser video which shows the date of 10.08 (October 8th) with a phone that looks identical to the HTC One (M8) in the background. We were initially only expecting the HTC Desire Eye to make an appearance at HTC’s Double Exposure event on October 8th in New York, but the new teaser and the original invitation (which showed a phone that looked like the HTC One M8) have us re-thinking that assumption.
As of now, all HTC One (M8 Eye) rumors have indicated that the phone will only be available in a few markets in Asia, but that may not be the case if HTC does plan to show off the phone in New York.
A lot of sites praised the HTC One (M8) for its design, battery life, software and overall experience, but the 4 Ultrapixel/DuoCamera setup on the back was the main point of contention for many. If you have not already purchased the HTC One (M8), would the HTC One (M8 Eye) convince you to finally make the upgrade?
