We’re expecting the rumored HTC Desire Eye to be unveiled at HTC’s October 8th event in NYC, but a little slip from Verizon reveals that there’s another Desire phone that’ll soon be available here in the US. Someone on Verizon’s team has accidentally uploaded the user manual for the HTC Desire 612 – a mid-range Android smartphone which is rumored to hit Verizon store on October 9th.
According to TK Tech News, the HTC Desire 612 sports a 4.7-inch qHD display, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 128GB miroSD card slot, 8 megapixel main camera with 1080p video capture, front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera, 2040 mAh battery with BoomSound speakers and an all metal body. There’s no details regarding the phone’s processor, but we can assume that it’ll have a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 since the Desire 612 simply appears to be Verizon’s variant of the HTC Desire 610.
The price of the Desire 612 appears to be set at $19.99 with a two-year contract.
