The rumors around the HTC M8 Prime died off a while back when @evleaks shared that the phone had been postponed until 2015. From what we can tell, the HTC M8 Prime launch isn’t going to happen any time soon, but a new HTC device has hit the rumor mill, re-introducing many of the same details which were previously associated with the HTC M8 Prime.
My Drivers claims a new device named the HTC M8 Life will feature a 5.5-inch WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display, 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 (APQ8084) SoC and a silicon carbide casing – all features from the HTC M8 Prime. While we’d like to believe that HTC is working on a new HTC One max, the new rumor could simply be the leftovers from the HTC M8 Prime shared from a different source.
HTC will be announcing something big at its event in New York next week, but we doubt the company has anything as big as the M8 Prime of M8 Life up its sleeve.

I don’t think it will be HTC One MAX. HTC has BIG smartphones, I can’t prove, but I think the One MAX was not so succesful because it was VERY large. Having a 5,5″ and BoomSpeakers bezel, I think it could not compete with GN4, which was already released.
Need to agree with you. Quality also not on M7 level material wise, screen was great.
