It looks like we can scratch the HTC Nexus tablet off the list of possible devices HTC may unveil in New York on October 8th. As part of a lawsuit against Qualcomm and Samsung, NVIDIA has published a document which highlights its new Tegra K1 chip and a handful of devices it is used in. The document doesn’t give an exact date, but it does make reference to the “HTC Nexus 9” tablet and that it’s “expected in the third quarter of 2014.”
We’re pretty sure NVIDIA didn’t expect to media to poor through its legal documents an unearth details about Google and HTC’s upcoming tablet. Since Nexus devices are not “owned” by the manufacturer, we expect Google will be hosting its own even within the next few weeks to unveil the HTC Nexus 9 and Android L.
