We’ve know that the HTC Desire 510 would be heading to Cricket Wireless since it was announced in August, but we finally have a date and price tag. Cricket Wireless will be selling the HTC Desire 510 for $149.99 starting on September 19th.
The HTC Desire 510 sports a 4.7 inch FWVGA, quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot (up to 128GB), 5 megapixel main camera, front-facing VGA camera and a 2,100 mAh battery. The majority of the specs are low-end, but the new Snapdragon 410 should deliver ample performance and allows HTC to pair the phone with its own line of DotView cases.
Crickets new partnership with GameStop also means that the HTC Desire 510 will be available in over 2,800 GameStop retail stores across the country. GameStop customers will be able to use credit from video game and game console trade-ins to buy the HTC Desire 510 and other Cricket Wireless phones. We’re not sure how much the new deal will help either company, but it certainly can’t hurt HTC and sales of the Desire 510.
