We’ve heard from a leak that the HTC one (M8) for Windows would be heading to T-Mobile in the near future, but now we have confirmation from T-Mobile’s “Sr. Product Guy” that the Un-carrier will soon be offering the new Windows phone 8.1 handset to its customer. As usual, there’s no information pricing and a launch date, but @askdes was kind enough to share a picture and a Vine of the T-Mobile HTC One (M8) for Windows and T-Mobile has also published an HTC One (M8) for Windows pre-registration page on its site.
As with Verizon’s version of the phone, you’d forgive you if you accidentally mistake the phone for its Android-powered twin. While we love the design of the HTC one (M8), we’re still not sure if HTC’s decision to use the exact same hardware is a good idea. We’re sure that it’ll definitely cause a little confusion when consumers walk into a store and ask for the HTC one (M8) and are shown two options running completely different software. The good news is, it looks like T-Mobile will not be defacing the back of the phone with its logo as Verizon has done.
That's right! #HTCOneM8 for Windows is coming to @TMobile! You asked for it and its coming! @windowsphone @HTCUSA pic.twitter.com/6GqqCuiwEz
