Verizon customers looking for an alternative to the HTC One (M8) may soon be able to get their hands on Big Red’s version of the HTC One mini 2. The latest rumor claims that the HTC One Remix will be heading to Verizon on Thursday, July 24. The Verizon variant of the One mini 2 should come with all the same features as the international model with a new modifications to the radio bands to accommodate Verizon’s CDMA and LTE network.
Since Verizon is making an effort to re-brand the HTC One mini 2 as the HTC One Remix, we’re assuming that the company will be doing some TV, print and in-store promotion of its own. We don’t want to see the HTC One Remix outshining the HTC One (M8), but HTC could definitely use the help getting the word out about the new phone since HTC’s marketing department appears to be focused exclusively on the company’s flagship phone.
