It looks like Sprint has released a bug fix for its customers with the HTC One M8 carrier edition and special edition harmon/kardon model that deals with voice and data signals. This issue has been present for some, but not all HTC One M8 users on the Sprint network and is listed as a network connectivity maintenance and improvements fix for voice and data.
Users are encouraged to check their phones for the update and although the size of the download is not mentioned by our source they suggest hoping on WiFi. We’re guessing if you’re having a problem with your data signal then you’re probably already on WiFi!
Previously, users were subjected to toggling Airplane mode, rebooting the handset, or simply riding on roaming continuously. I personally had a friend who decided to give HTC another shot after a few Samsung models and this issue swayed him back to Samsung in less than 24 hours of his purchase. How has your experience with the HTC One M8 on Sprint been? How has voice and data signal quality changed if you’ve already downloaded the bug fix?
