HTC’s methodical rollout of HTC Sense 6 for last years HTC One continues today with the Verizon branded HTC One. The 642.8MB update delivery most of the software features which made their debut on HTC One (M8). All the core Android apps have been updated and there are quite a few new customization options, but you won’t be getting Motion Gestures, UFocus or any of the M8′s fancy DuoCamera tricks.
You can wait around for a few days for the update notification to appear on your Verizon HTC One, or you can ping the update servers manually by going to Settings > About Phone > Software update > Check now. As always, we recommend having at least a 50% charge on your device and a good WiFi connection so that the 642.8MB update file doesn’t eat into your data cap.

Downloaded Verizon upgrade. Email, text messaging improvements noted. Nice keyboard, don’t make as many errors now while typing. One negative, noticed battery draining significantly faster, that’s not good.
