The HTC W8 isn’t the only new HTC device heading to Verizon Wireless. According to @evleaks, HTC is prepping the Desire 610 for Verizon under the name HTC A3QHD#CL (most likely just an internal reference name). While most smartphone enthusiasts will probably not even notice the Verizon variant of the Desire 610, the handset’s specs are still quite impressive even if the device is being marketed to the budget-conscious consumer.
The specs on the HTC Desire 610 include a 4.7-inch 960 x 540 display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 2,040mAh battery, 8 megapixel camera on the back with f/2.4 aperture, front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera, 8GB of internal storage, microSD expansion (up to 64GB), front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers, nano-SIM support and LTE radio. Back in March, it was revealed that the HTC Desire 610 may also be heading to AT&T, so we wouldn’t be surprised if Sprint and T-Mobile jumped on the opportunity to offer the phone to their customers as well.
HTC A3QHD#CL will be the Desire 610 on Verizon. [comments: http://t.co/dMTT3g393q]
