Following on the heels of the HTC One (M7) Sense 6 release in Europe, the phone’s Dual SIM variant is now being blessed with the same update. We’re hearing reports that the update is currently available for the China Unicom HTC One Dual SIM, but we would not be surprised if the update started hitting unlocked versions of the phone in Asia and other global markets. If you own the HTC One Dual SIM, go to Settings > About Phone > Software update > Check now to manually ping HTC’s update servers to see if the update is available for your device. HTC wants to get the Sense 6 update pushed out to all its 2013 One models by the end of May, so you don’t have too much longer to wait if the update is not available for your device yet.
While the version of Android stays the same with this update, Sense 6 will deliver many of the software features which made their debut on this year’s flagship HTC One (M8). You won’t be getting UFocus or any of the M8′s fancy DuoCamera tricks, but all the core Android apps have been updated and there are quite a few new customization options.
