Owners of the Verizon HTC One max have a new update to download for their phone. The latest Android 4.4.2 build isn’t much different than what’s currently running on the Verizon HTC One max. There are a handful of under-the-hood changes on Google’s side, but you will notice the inclusion of host card emulation for NFC Tap-to-pay in the phones settings, allowing the phone to use Google Wallet or other NFC payment services.
If the update has yet to hit your HTC One max, you can go to Settings > About > Software updates > Check now to download the update manually. Now that the phone is running the latest version of Android, lets phone HTC’s engineers can start working on the next update which will deliver HTC Sense 6 and all its new features.
