HTC’s technical translation teasers have covered BoomSound, Ultrapixels and unibody aluminum construction, so it’s only natural that HTC’s Zoe functionality has taken center stage in this week’s video. The teaser actually doesn’t cover Zoe (which records a 4 second video while simultaneously snapping 20 pictures), but focus instead on Video Highlights which allows users to combine video and pictures form specific events into 30 second highlight reels with music and visual effects. The combination of Zoe, Video Highlights and the UltraPixel camera are what make the camera experience on the 2013 HTC One so compelling. HTC has pushed out multiple improvements to Video Highlights over the past 12 months, so it’ll be interesting to see what new tricks will be introduced with HTC Sense 6 on the all new HTC One.
