HTC’s March 25th teaser marketing campaign has officially jumped off the internet and landed at the world-famous Selfridges & Co department store in the heart of London. As you can see in the image above, HTC has taken over one a display window next to one of the entrances to the store – leading us to believe that the company is working on a small showroom to show off the all new HTC One to the general public once the handset is unveiled on March 25th.
We did see a similar strategy from HTC last year with a few dozen HTC One pop-up retail booths across the US and Europe, but we’re hoping HTC will be even more aggressive this time around with permanent locations at major retail outlets across the globe.
Do you think dedicated showrooms will help HTC convince the general public that the all new HTC One is a legitimate alternative the flagship devices from Samsung, Apple and Sony?
