Entry-level HTC Desire 310 finally unveield – mixes HTC software features with stock Android

After a false launch and a few leaks, the HTC Desire 310 is now official. The HTC Desire 310 is an entry-level Android smartphone with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, microSD card slot, 5 megapixel main camera, front-facing VGA camera and a 4.5-inch display 854×480 display. The specs on the HTC Desire 310 aren’t that impressive, but you have to keep in mind that the phone will be priced right around the $200 mark.

The most interesting feature of the HTC Desire 310 is actually its Android 4.2 software build. HTC revealing too many details at this time, but the images confirm previous leaks, showing the stock Android icons and notification bar mixed in with HTC BlinkFeed. The HTC Desire 310 also deliver the same Video Highlights feature we’ve seen on other HTC devices, but the main software experience on the device should align more with stock Android than HTC Sense.

The HTC Desire 310 will be making its way to Asian and European markets in April, but we would not be surprised if at least one US pre-paid service provider lineup up to offer the handset to its customer later this spring.

  1. Its size won’t be for everyone, and we do wish LG would take a closer look at the audio side of things, but there’s no denying that its high-res capabilities, mixed in with a stunning video performance, great design and superb user experience make it a very tempting choice.

  2. The latest addition to our renowned HTC Desire range combines super-fast processing and premium features at a lower price, offering users the best possible experience in this category.
