The HTC One (M8) has been on sale for less than a week, but we’re starting to hear reports that demand for the new flagship handset are exceeding supply levels. Since the handset’s launch, orders for the phone have doubled every day. While the new HTC One (M8) hit store shelves before the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Sony Xperia Z2, its NT$21,900 (US$718.52) for the 16GB model is substantially lower than the NT$22,900 and NT$23,900 sticker prices which will accompany the two competing phones when they go on sale in mid-April.
HTC has not released any early sales figures for the HTC One (M8) so far. The HTC One (M7) got off to a slow start due to supply chain issues, so it shouldn’t be too hard for the HTC One (M8) to blow its predecessor’s launch sales figures out of the water.
Have you purchased the HTC One (M8) already?

This brings joy
Ditto..Glad to hear HTC sales are going well. Talk about a company that could use a break, after turning out some stellar devices.
Gary,
I read your piece on the Stealth Red M8. I am holding out for more info on the Red color, before picking One up. I might go Gunmetal, but the phone is so Awesome, I want to blind people with it. If I can’t hold out, may just go for Gold @ Best Buy.
Awesome job btw @ Pocketnow weekly Podcast. Thank goodness you there to help move things along 🙂
Taylor Martin definitely took home the BlahBlah award!
Nick your honest opinion do you think I should upgrade to the M8 from the M7?
I played yesterday in Vodafone shop. Somehow feels lighter than M7.
Faster very good camera. Lol
And crisper sound.
Machine, just put 128Gb card or 64Gb Sandisk Extreme and wait for faster cheaper 128Gb.
