The HTC One will be getting its Android 4.3 update soon… very soon. HTC’s Jason Mackenzie announced on Twitter today that the update roll-out will commence this week with the HTC One Developer Edition, followed by a release in Canada before the end of the month. The U.S. release for carrier branded phones is still pending carrier certification. Since service providers are known to take their time testing Android updates, it’s impossible to know how much longer you may have to wait for the Android 4.3 update on your HTC One.
Unfortunately, the good news was followed up with new details regarding the update for the HTC Droid DNA. While Jason originally said that the DNA would receive the same update as the HTC One, the update is now listed as being Android 4.2.2 with a new version of HTC Sense.
At this point, we do not know when the Android 4.3 update for the HTC One will be heading to Europe or Asia, but we’ll definitely share any new details as soon as we get them.

Regarding Droid DNA. Update and clarification is that DNA customers will get new Sense experiences (w/ 4.2.2) before end of year.

Such crap.
The Taiwan version and the dev.edition are getting the update,.and yet the U.S variants.haven’t received a single update for Android.Sure I have gotten a.update that.fixes.the media link, and one that.enables new LTE bands on AT$T bands on their network,.but, has been.zero updates for the O.S,
I knew going in HTC and AT&T were.going to be slow, but, the rest of the.world.have seen 4.2.2 update and a maintenance update.to for 4.2.2. HTC is blowing it again with their Flagship device.

Wow, such negative vibes. Even his username is negative. Guess that’s hype he/she chooses to live life.
First off, my HTC One got updated twice long ago and is happily running 4.1.2 on Tmo. They (quickly, IMHO)fixed some unfortunate problems.
Later, It was announced that 4.2.2 would be skipped for the soon to be released 4.3. I have no problem with staying with what’s working fine while my carrier ensures a smooth transition.

When will be released the 4.3 update for international unlocked devices? I’m in Uruguay, I’ve been checking for updates every day for almost one month, and nothing yet… I’m kinda pissed off…
