The launch of the HTC One on Big Red is finally here! We’ve heard the rumors and both, HTC/Verizon claiming this phone would not come to this particular wireless carrier, but the stalling is over with the arrival of the HTC One on August 22nd.
Some would say it is too late to invest in the HTC One, but our source has information from a Verizon representative suggesting the HTC One will come pre-installed with Android 4.2.2. None of the other carriers in the US can claim the title of having Android 4.2.2 on the HTC One so this model has a perk compared to the other US carriers. If you are not bound to a contract and want to shop around this would be a good time to check into Verizon.
The source also learned that Verizon’s HTC One will be available with 32 GB of internal memory for $199 on contract.
