Verizon has yet to announce when the HTC One will be made available to its customers, but a new image implies that the previously leaked August 1 launch is no longer on the calendar. If the new leak is to be believed, Verizon is now prepping for an August 15th HTC One launch date. While the image clearly states that the launch has been “moved” no reason for the move has been listed.
With HTC projecting a bleak third quarter for 2013, we’re hoping sales of the HTC One will tick upward once the device makes its debut on Verizon’s network. The HTC One isn’t considered a new phone any more since it’s already been available on T-mobile, Sprint and AT&T for roughly three months, but we’re hoping Verizon HTC One launch is coupled with another round of TV and print ads to make sure consumers know that the device can be purchased on all four major service providers in the US.
