Based on the number of leaks, rumors and pictures of the HTC One mini and HTC One Max, we were pretty confident that the two devices were real, but it’s always reassuring when a document from a service provider lends a hand in confirming the names. The O2 Germany document lists a silver and black HTC One mini long with a silver HTC One Max, giving us hope that the retail launch of the two phone isn’t far off. The document does not reveal any launch information, but multiple rumors have suggested that the HTC one min and One Max would hit retail stores in Q3 of this year.
The HTC One Max (aka the HTC T6) is expected to feature a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 3,300mAh battery, BoomSound speakers, an UltraPixel camera and will run on Android 4.3 or 5.0 at launch. The HTC One mini is said to feature a 4.3-inch display, 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, UltraPixel camera with full HD video capture, HTC Zoe all running on Android 4.2.2. Previous rumors have suggested that it will come with a 720p display and 2GB of RAM.
While the HTC One mini is expected to outclass its main competitor – the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, it’s unclear how the HTC one Max will stack up against the recently announced Sony Xperia Z Ultra and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note III. All three devices are expected to fill the void between large smartphones and small tablets.
Would you rather carry around the HTC One mini and a tablet or larger device like the HTC One Max?
The One macs isn’t competing against the upcomingG alaxy S3 but the Galaxy Note 3.
Typo on our end as well. Thanks for pointing it out.
