The HTC Desire P is the latest mid-range Android smartphone from HTC to hit Taiwan. The device features a 4.3-inch WVGA display, dual-core 1Ghz processor, 768MB RAM, 4GB storage, a microSD expansion slot, Beats audio and an 8-megapixel rear camera. If the specs and design of the HTC Desire P seem familiar, that’s because the HTC One SV appears to be a nearly identical twin.
The HTC Desire P’s processor, memory and internal storage are a slight downgrade from the HTC One SV, but the phone does feature a slightly better 8 megapixel imaging chip than its counterpart. Color options for the HTC Desire P include “pretty” red or “sparkling” white and the phone will carry a price tag of $360.
Can one of you please tell us why Taiwan needs the HTC One SV and the HTC Desire? We have a feeling that most consumers will have a few hard time telling the two phones apart.
