Official: AT&T HTC One to go on sale April 19 for $199 and $299, pre-sales commence April 4, free HTC Media Link HD

At long last, we finally have an official launch date for the HTC One in the US. AT&T has just announced that it will start selling the HTC One on April 19th. AT&T will be pricing the HTC One at $199.99 for the 32GB model and $299.99 for the 64GB model (an AT&T exclusive), as long as you’re willing to sign up for a new two year contract. If you simply can’t contain your excitement, AT&T will allow “customers eager to reserve the HTC One” the opportunity to pre-order the phone starting on April 4th. To sweeten the deal, AT&T will also be throwing in a free HTC Media Link HD  (a $90 value) with every HTC One order.

Now that AT&T has shown its cards, we expect T-Mobile and Sprint to jump in and reveal when they plan to start selling the HTC One. Waiting until April 19th may feel unbearable, but we’re honestly relieved to hear that AT&T will not be pricing the 32GB model at $249. With a free Media Link HD and a $199.99 price tag, the HTC One will definitely deliver more value to consumers than the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S 4.

If you’re planning on purchasing the HTC One from AT&T, let us know what color and storage capacity option you’ll be opting for.
