Well, HTC may have jumped the gun on this one. Our beloved smartphone manufacture anxiously announced the HTC One last month ahead of its competitors and before Mobile World Congress to shine in the spotlight before others had a chance. When the HTC One was announced we were told to expect shipments sometime in March and as this month carries on it has come to the point where HTC has to let the world know they are not ready to meet customers demands of this great phone. Those fortunate enough to have pre-ordered the One will likely receive their phone by the end of March, but HTC is going to be selective when rolling out their inventory.
We have yet to receive any solid details explaining why the delay is happening, but it could have something to do with the time it takes to cut that sleek unibody shell out of a single piece of aluminum or it could be an external manufacturer that is unable to keep up with the supply and demand that everyone should have been prepared for since we are dealing with THE HTC ONE!
The statement below was shared with the source for this post linked at the bottom.
“We will start fulfilling pre-orders by end March in certain markets and will roll out to more markets as we approach April.”
This news is hard to swallow for those of us ready to throw money into HTC’s pockets. Are you willing to hold out for the HTC One or is there another phone nearing the market that will get your money instead?

There’s no way I’m going to give up on my pre-order! I’ve waited long enough, another 2 weeks won’t matter… Patience grasshopper, patience…
Happened with the Desire and most other models.
Take a HTC launch date and add 3-5 weeks.
