Earlier this week we were officially introduced to the new HTC One. HTC’s 2013 flagship device looks great, and now there is more good news for those of you looking to pick one up when released next month. HTC will be updating it’s Sync Manager software and introducing a new feature that allows you take an iPhone backup(created within iTunes) and transfer your pictures, videos, calendar entries and texts over to the HTC One.
Based on the existing version of Sync Manager, it’s likely that this feature will be available for both PCs and Macs but that has not been made official. It will be interesting to see if HTC also introduces this feature to older handsets, although I’m not sure I see the advantage.
What are your thoughts? Does the ability to transfer data from an iPhone persuade you to purchase the HTC One, or are you already sold on it based on the specs alone?
It’s great to see HTC put their patent agreement with Apple to good use.
ho yeah!!! my wife will be thrilled 😉
