Ever since the very first HTC M7 rumors hit the web, we’ve been adamant that HTC would announce the HTC M7 before Mobile world Congress. According to the latest rumor, our predictions may actually be true. The latest rumor regarding the launch of the HTC M7 comes from @flapic, an app and mobile phone reviewer who claims “HTC M7 to be launched during a dedicated event on February 19th, probably in London, not at #MWC13″
While @flapic is now willing to disclose how he managed to get his hands on this information, a pre-Mobile World Congress unveiling of the HTC M7 sounds more than plausible. The first round of HTC M7 rumors from December indicated that the company was already sourcing enough components to manufacture 4 to 5 million units of the HTC M7 in Q1 with hopes of bringing the handset to market several months before Samsung’s next flagship Android device.
If HTC does unveil the HTC M7 on February 19th in London, it would allow the company to dominate news coverage for an entire week without having to worry about announcements from other competing smartphone markers.
