HTC One XL owners in Taiwan and Singapore did not wake up to the end of the world this morning, but instead were welcomed with the roll out of the version of Android known as 4.1 or Jelly Bean.
If you live in these locations and have not received a notification on your phone yet pull the notification bar down, tap on settings, scroll down to the bottom of the settings page and tap on About, then tap on Software updates followed by the Check Now option at the bottom of the screen. Your phone should see the system update and give you the proper notification to install.
Once installed, your HTC One XL will have Android 4.1 and HTC Sense 4+, the latest version of HTC’s user interface that is chalked full of software enhancements. In addition users will see a performance boost, better power management, the Event/Map photo gallery options, and some changes in the camera software like the bottom to quickly switch between front and rear cameras.
Make sure your HTC One XL has a healthy amount of battery life and is connected to a WiFi source, because the 658 MB will eat up data plan resources and could take longer to download.
Some software updates take longer than others and we have witnessed Jelly Bean trickle down to only a few HTC handsets so far. Here is why HTC says updates take a while to release.
Our goal is to make sure that an upgrade provides an improved customer experience and that means a high standard of quality for hardware compatibility, adapting device or carrier specific customizations, testing by HTC and partners, addressing device hardware constraints, and many other factors.

Soooooo….When is AT&T going to give my One X Jelly Bean? LOL
I will personally let you know Mr. Carlisle!
I “could” allegedly root it and find a JB ROM, but I’m trying to be a good boy with THIS phone. LOL
Should be soon since the HTC One XL and AT&T HTC One X share the same hardware. AT&T is most likely still testing the new update.
And for sensation XE ??
