HTC 8X clears the FCC likely headed to AT&T

A few days ago, the FCC had the pleasure of teasing fans by pushing through approvals for the HTC 8X in a couple of variations; Verizon and AT&T. It looks like the AT&T version slid to home plate first showing off a model number, NM8PM23300 and in the supporting documentation bands that are likely matching AT&T’s LTE network in the United States.

Items like this usually pass through the FCC’s hands as they draw near to release dates so we are hopeful that a timeline and pricing will be announced in the near future, possibly at Microsoft’s big launch party later this month.

The Windows Phone 8 operating system offers a competitive interface that is quickly maturing to a state in which Android was in not too long ago behind the Apple mobile operating system, iOS. We hope to see this OS combined with HTC’s brilliant hardware design make a big hit with consumers this holiday season.

Those of you that are planning to get one should leave us a comment with the color you think you will go with.
