Verizon roadmap shows HTC 8X and DROID Incredible X scheduled for November launch

When the HTC 8X was unveiled earlier this week, HTC’s said that the phone would start making its way to carriers across the globe “starting” in November. Since the press release was a bit generic, we were not sure exactly when each of the listed carriers would offer the phone. Fortunately, a leaked Verizon roadmap has surfaced, listing the HTC 8X with a November launch.

That same roadmap featured more than a half dozen upcoming Windows Phone 8 and Android smartphones. Among them was the HTC ADR6435LVW which is now known as the HTC DROID Incredible X thanks to one of our inside sources. The roadmap lists the HTC DROID Incredible X with LTE connectivity (something we already knew) and shows an expected November launch.

Exact dates for the launch of the HTC 8X and HTC DROID Incredible X are still up in the air, but we’re sure Verizon and HTC will be working as hard as they can to get the two devices in stores to take advantage of the holiday shopping frenzy. If you’re hoping to get yourself an early Christmas present this year, we suggest you start saving you money now.

      1. Living in the UK I was so willing to wait for this to be release internationaly, but if it will never happen then hello Galaxy Note 2!

Because, you know, who outside of the US would want a 1080p beast of a handset just a bit smaller than a note but still big enough to use a multimedia device comfortably?!

        I’m really, really dissapointed…

        1. Wait things out a little longer. We’ll know a lot more once we get into October. HTC always launched new flagship Android devices in the fall and I doubt they will leave the EU out of the mix.

      2. The original DROID Incredible was just a rehash of the Nexus One. The DROID Incredible 2 launched in internationally as the HTC Incredible S. The only Incredible device which is exclusive to Verizon is the new Incredible 4G LTE which is the poor man’s version of the HTC One X with a slower processor, lackluster camera, smaller display and much thicker body.
