While the HTC EVO 4g LTE has NCF and is certified to use Google Wallet, a small glitch within the handset’s build.prop file has been throwing up an error message saying “Google Wallet has not yet been certified in your country or on your device / carrier.”
Google is now saying that they have a fix for the issue which should be pushed out to effected handsets sometime this month. The status update was posted on the Google Wallet product page on Google Play.
If you’re the adventurious type, you can do a few modifications to get Google Wallet up and running. With all the custom coding that goes into every single handset, we’re not sure if Sprint, HTC or Google is ultimately responsible for this mishap, but it’s nice to know that this will all be a thing of the past.
