Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE official launch to kick off June 2nd

After a two week delay, Sprint is finally ready to launch the HTC EVO 4G LTE on June 2nd. The handset’s price is set at $199 with a new two year contracts, but third-party retailers like Amazon will probably sell the HTC EVO 4G LTE for $149 once they fulfill their initial pre-order allotments.

The HTC EVO 4G LTE is the most feature-rich HTC handset to launch this year. At its core, the phone features the same capabilities as the dual-core Qualcomm S4 powered HTC One X which launched on AT&T last month, but Sprint’s modifications give the EVO a bit of an edge with a larger battery, HD Voice integration and a kickstand built into the body of the phone.

As of tomorrow, Sprint owners can finally get their hands on a new flagship HTC device. Last year’s HTC EVO 3D was a bit of a disappointment, but Sprint and HTC are poised to impress their customers with the new HTC EVO 4G LTE. Will you be stopping by your local Sprint store tomorrow to purchase the EVO 4G LTE?
