Move over HTC One V – there’s a new HTC device ready to capture the hearts of the budget minded consumer. The HTC Desire C is now available in the UK and can be purchased for as little as £149.99. Consumers looking to pair the HTC Desire C with a two year contract, can pick up the phone from Three for free with a £13 a monthly contract which gives them 100 minutes, 5,000 texts and 250MB of monthly data. Orange and T-Mobile are also selling the HTC Desire C for £169.99.
The HTC Desire C features a 600 MHz processor paired with 512 MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 3.5-inch HVGA display, 5 megapixel camera with HTC’s ImageSense technology, Beats Audio, HTC Sense 4.0 and a 1230 mAh battery. Those looking to keep up with the times will also have the option of purchasing a variant of the HTC desire C which comes with NFC integration, but HTC is not saying how much more the NFC enabled device will cost.
No word on when or even if the HTC Desire C will be making its way to this side of the Atlantic, but we’re sure a handful of regional carriers may want to pick it up once they roll out the HTC One V.
