If you find yourself living in a cave for some reason, we’d like to be the first to inform you that Google I/O 2012 kicks off this morning at 9:30 PST. The opening keynote agenda is unknown at this point, but it’s safe to assume Google will be talking about the never ending domination of Android, Jelly Bean (the latest Android update) and the unveiling of the very first Nexus Tablet.
One rumor which we hope will turn into a reality is the Majel project which is speculated to be deployed as Google’s response to Apple’s Siri. The Google X Labs project is said to Google’s vast search knowdlege and year of experience with voice recognition software to create a voice assitant application which would far exceed anything Apple has put out so far.
Since we did not get invited to cover Google I/O this year, you’ll have to make due with Google’s standard video coverage of today’s keynote. Check out the video below and be sure to share your thoughts on Google’s latest announcements.
