If you think the HTC One V is simply too expensive, the HTC Desire C may be exactly what you are looking for. The new entry-level Android 4.0 phone from HTC delivers a stunningly designed handset with some of the latest smartphone technology at a price that won’t break the bank.
The HTC Desire C features a 600 MHz processor paired with 512 MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 3.5-inch HVGA display, 5 megapixel camera with HTC’s ImageSense technology, Beats Audio, HTC Sense 4.0 and a 1230 mAh battery. Those looking to keep up with the times will also have the option of purchasing a variant of the HTC desire C which comes with NFC integration, but HTC is not saying how much more the NFC enabled device will cost.
The price of the HTC Desire C is set at £169.99, making it cheaper than last year’s HTC Desire S. T-Mobile, Three and Orange in the UK will offer the HTC Desire C for free sometime in June with monthly rate plans which start at £15.50. HTC has not announced a U.S. launch of the Desire C, but we expect a few regional carriers will release the handset as a budget-friendly Android 4.0 device sometime this summer.

the specs are very similar to my Desire Z, then why aren’t they releasing an Android 4.0 update to us if that thing can handle it?? or at least the sense 4.0
