Do you have an HTC Windows Phone? Or are you on the edge, waiting for that one necessary feature to be added to Windows Phone? Today Windows Phone Hacker released its homebrew application known as “Folders for Windows.” This app allows for the creation of folders in the app menu. Now remember this app is still in beta testing so expect a few bugs here and there. Needless to say Folders for Windows definitely looks promising.
Folders for Windows first started off as a concept to bring more organization to an already well organized operating system. For users coming from Android and iOS, this will bring a well welcomed and familiar ability to Windows Phones, which in turn will put Windows Phones back on the map. The most current version of this homebrew app is 1.0. The changelog states many bug fixes and UI change, and also the ability to pin created folders to the start menu. So if you happen to own a HTC Windows Phone, and also have your device unlocked, head on over to Windows Phone Hacker to download and test out the new app.
