Sprint has just launched the HTC EVO 4G LTE pre-order page on its website, though pre-orders will not be accepted until May 7th. The page confirms Sprint’s earlier announcement that the HTC EVO 4G LTE will be priced at $199.99 with a two year contract and highlights the phone’s top level specs which include a 4.7-inch 720p HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity, Android 4.0, HTC Sense 4.0, Google Wallet, Beats Audio, HD Voice and the return of the EVO’s signature kickstand.
For now, those interested in pre-ordering the HTC EVO 4G LTE can sign up for an email reminder which will most likely be sent out on May 7th once pre-ordering is opened up to the public. Some have issues with the look of the HTC EVO 4G LTE, but the handset’s larger battery and expandable storage make it a much better option than the HTC One X for those who simply must have the best phone on the market.
Sprint has yet to announce an official launch date for the HTC EVO 4G LTE, but rumors indicate that the phone could show up in local Sprint stores as early as May 18th.
