A few weeks back, we reported that a CDMA variant of the HTC One X could be heading to Sprint sometime this summer. New details indicate that the handset is now being referred to as the HTC Jet (previously known as the HTC Jewel) and that it could go on sale June 10 – roughly two years after the HTC EVO 4G. S4GRU’s report on the matter goes on to talk about specifications and possible names for Sprint’s version of the HTC One X, but they don’t provide anything we have not already shared with you about the phone.
Sprint’s version of the HTC One may be a little behind the curve since AT&T and T-Mobile are expected to release their devices this spring, but a mid-June launch would tie in perfectly with Sprint’s 4G LTE rollout plans. Even though HTC wants to deliver a unified brand image across different carriers, we suspect Sprint will be allowed to keep the EVO name alive with the One X.
Do you think an LTE enabled HTC One X is worthy enough to follow in the footsteps of the HTC EVO 4G?

Thanks for finding this. I’ve wondered if it would actually come to Sprint. I’m on Evo 3d right now and I love it…but I’ve toyed with the idea of getting the iphone 4s for the camera… but I can’t give up swype, navigation, bigger screen, group texting, and all the other things I love about android… so I’ve been waiting for something with a better camera/video. Will this be it?
This phone should be a lot better than the EVO 3D and will outclass the iPhone 4S any day.
I think this phone best choice for smart tech.
After seeing more videos of this phone… I’m excited for it to come out, I just wish it was coming sooner!
