HTCdev has been on a roll lately with new APIs and unlocked bootloaders for dozens of Android phones. Today, HTCdev has announced that the bootloader for the HTC Dream can now be unlocked with the official HTC unlock tool. While there are very few people who still use the HTC Dream (T-Mobile G1) these days, the fact that the HTCdev team would spend the time and effort to unlock the bootloader for the HTC Dream should speak volumes ot those who may question HTC’s commitment to unlock booloaders for newer phones as they are released.
We’re not sure what the HTCdev team has planned next, but now that most of HTC’s phones have unlocked bootloaders, that should free up more time so that they team can work with application developers to help them integrate with all the new APIs which were recently released.

I still use htc g1 ..which has android version 1.6 and fed up of its limited use…i want to upgrade it..how do i upgrade it ??
