HTC is on the road again with the HTC One. This time, they made a stop in Bangkok and Jakarta to meet up with HTC fans and show off what the phones can do. We’ve heard it before, but HTC is continuing to push the HTC One’s superior imaging capabilities. Over the past weeks we’ve seen quite a few sample images take with the HTC One (some of which were not that impressive) so it shouldn’t be any surprise to any of us to see several new pictures shows off in HTC’s latest blog post.
This time around, the HTC one images truly stand out. While the HTC One X and One S feature an 8 megapixel imaging sensor, the images below are only 6 megapixels (3264 x 1840) . I showed them off to my wife yesterday (a portrait photographer in the Twin Cities) and she was fairly impressed that a phone could produce such high quality images. What we’re still missing are sample pictures which show off the HTC One’s adjustable flash and low light/night capture capabilities.
Is the camera in the HTC One the most important feature for you or are you simply waiting to get your hands on a phone with a Qualcomm S4 or Tegra 3 chip?

Of course it’s the chip set I’m waiting for. Hopefully just 2 more weeks, until I can fondle all that quad core Tegra 3 power.
Hi Nick,
You have mentioned something like, ” the images below are only 6 megapixels (3264 x 1840)” in the article. So are you saying that HTC One with 4UP (ultra pixel) Camera shoots pics same as a 6MP camera or have you upsized them to a 6MP camera shots. Because I am mostly interested to see the pics directly ported from HTC One.
