With less than 100 hours to go before HTC takes the stage at Mobile World Congress, we now have some real-world benchmark numbers for the HTC Ville (aka the HTC One S) for the first time. Apparently, someone thought it would be nice to see how the HTC Ville compared to other Android powered handsets by running the NenaMark2 benchmark.
The verdict? The HTC Ville posted an average score of 57.4 with a high score of 60.6. The average score is high enough to give the HTC Ville the second place spot on the NenaMark 2 global ranking chart while the high score takes it up to number one.
We know that the Qualcomm S4 MSM8960 chip inside the HTC Ville will be one of the most powerful chips for single threaded processing on Android, but if you’re looking for a mind-bending gaming experience, we’d recommend you keep an eye out for the HTC One X which will be powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 chip. Both platforms have their advantaged and disadvantages, so it all comes down to how you plan on using your phone.
Both of them are powerful(T3&S4). I’ll prefer the one which can save more battery life with daily use.
