T-Mobile customers planning to purchase the HTC Sensation, myTouch 4G Slide or the Amaze should probably make their purchase soon. A new picture has surfaced which shows that T-Mobile is planning on phasing out the three HTC phones listed above. In the past, T-Mobile has typically held on to HTC devices for a little more than a year, so it’s surprising to see T-Mobile give the HTC Sensation Amaze and myTouch 4G Slide an end-of-life designation when the oldest of the phones has only been on the market for seven full months.
To be fair, we really don’t have any details about how many phones T-Mobile currently has is stock. For all we know, T-Mobile has enough inventory to keep these three HTC phones fully stocked until suitable replacements are ready for consumers.
With the HTC Edge, Ville and Primo expected to debut at Mobile World Congress, we could see one or two new HTC phones in T-Mobile stores by early spring. Let’s not forget that T-Mobile was one of the first carriers to launch the HTC Sensation 4G in June of last year, even beating a few UK service providers to market by a week or two.

It was really hard holding off on the Amaze when my contract expired this past October. But news like this keeps me motivated to hold onto my MyTouch 3g just a little while longer. I really hope the Endeavor and/or the Ville make their way to T-Mobile soon. Krait S4 or Nvidia T3 chips will be beastly.
