Mobile World Congress is right around the corner and HTC is deciding to change things up a bit. According to an HTC source, the Taiwanese company plans on renaming the code-named HTC Edge to the HTC Endevour. This quad-core, Tegra 3 powerhouse, was rumored last year and is anticipated to be HTC’s flagship device for the current year.
While there was no specific reason mentioned for the name change, it’s possible it’s a marketing ploy by HTC . Could they be holding onto the “Edge” name for an unannounced slim phone? Regardless of the reason, this next-generation phone is sure to wow the attendees at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.
If the code-name change wasn’t enough, there are also whispers that when released in the Spring, the HTC Edge/Endevour will carry the moniker “Supreme.”
Tell us your thoughts about the name change. Is this simply a marketing ploy by HTC to generate more interest or news coverage before Mobile World Congress?

Will it come with Ice Cream Sandwich is the real question.
You would think that ICS would be standard on all new devices.
+1 @Steve
And for sure Sense 4.0 will be announced at the same time 🙂
I really hope Sense 4.0 is a lot better than the leaked builds of Sense 3.5 we’ve seen for the HTC Rezound and Sensation. HTC need to take things back to the drawingboard and delvier something stunning with the next version.
