HTC’s presence at CES was limited to the introduction of the new HTC Titan II which will be making it’s way into stores this spring. While that may be a bit disappointing, it’s certainly now surprising since HTC traditionally unveils their new handsets at Mobile World Congress and CTIA. With only a few weeks to go before MWC, a new rumor regarding the HTC Ville is making its rounds on the web.
According to PocketNow, T-Mobile USA will be one of the first carriers to offer the HTC Ville. The phone should feature the same 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with an Adreno 225 GPU, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display, Beats Audio, backside-illuminated 8 megapixel camera and 1650mAh batter and the international model.
Additionally, the T-Mobile HTC Ville will feature a new software service names HTC Family. The exact details of HTC Family as still unknown, but the leaked images of the service lead us to believe that family members or friends will be able to share their location, messages, pictures and files on various boards. There are a lot of other services on the Android Market which may do the same thing, but we expect HTC will be adding their own flare to the software to give their phones a unique experience not currently available anywhere else.
