HTC Rezound with Beats Audio now available from Verizon for $299

Verizon customers can now purchase the most powerful Android phone on the planet. Today, the HTC Rezound went on sale at Verizon stores across the country and online for $299.99. The price of the HTC Rezound falls in line with Verizon’s other 4G LTE enabled phones which typically demand a $50 to $100 premium over its 3G devices. The main difference between the HTC Rezound and Verizon’s other 4G phones is the Rezound’s 720p HD display ad the inclusion of Beats Audio headphones.

We’ve only had a we minutes of hands-on time with the device so far, but we can say that HTC fans will certainly not be disappointed with the HTC Rezound and its specs. The phone is snappy and extremely fast of Verizon’s 4G LTE network. The only real issue we had with the phone is the way it feels. HTC’s aluminum unibody devices are typically a bit heavier than the competition, but HTC has chosen to fit the HTC Rezound with a plastic shell which makes the phone feel light and flimsy.

If you purchase the HTC Rezound, leave us a comment below and let us know what you think of the flagship device? Does the phone’s performance live up to all the hype?

  1. I am a proud owner of the Rezound. So far, I really like it. I came from an OG droid so I dont find the rez to be bulky or heavy. I love the understated simplicity of it and the red accents are cool. I watch Netflix movies on it and the playback is smooth and the picture is stunning on the rez screen. I watched a movie for a half hour then streamed Slacker radio and the battery lasted for just over 6 hours. I was going to wait for the new Nexus but discovered that it doesnt come with an sd card slot. I dont think this phone feels flimsy at all…it’s solid and not insanely thick like some people think. The sound is awesome with the Beats earphones.

  2. If you use Sherweb as an Ihostexchange.. the HTC Rezound will load your photos, form the coporate server. .My old HTC Incredible did too.. so if having your photos come from your exchange… this may be the phone for you. I went to Verizon store and they tested it for me and the photos did sync. I have one on order. I had to return the Droid Bionic because Motorola does not support Photo Sync for corporate exchange contacts….and what a runaround I had to go through to get the answer to that one.
